On the heels of a remarkably successful inaugural Illinois High School Association’s state wide team bass tournament season, one of the premier outdoors shows in the nation will pair high school tournament anglers with one of America’s best fishing professionals.
Jim Sugarman, who promised to revamp the 31st edition of America’s Outdoor, Fishing & Hunting Show, has vowed that the show will return to its roots as an all fishing/hunting/camping show with an emphasis on getting kids to enjoy outdoors things.
Sugarman has announced that the show will include a unique program for the state’s high school tournament anglers on Sunday, January 31st, the last day of the America’s Outdoor Show: www.AmericasOutdoorShow.com
“In developing Behind Closed Doors with BassMasters Classic Champion Mike Iaconelli!,” Sugarman said, “we wanted to give tomorrow’s tournament bass professional a unique peek behind the glamour and the magic that is the BassMasters Classic. We invite all of Illinois’ high school tournament anglers to join BassMaster Classic winner Mike Iaconelli for an off-the-cuff, no holds barred interactive give-and-take private session during which one of the nation’s premier bass anglers will tell it like it is. Mike is one of the most celebrated Classic winners. This will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the students– and, for Mike, too!”
Iaconelli will talk to them about anything and everything they want to know… tactics, techniques, lures, equipment, boats and motors, behind the scenes stories that you won’t ever read about or hear about, what the tournament pro life is really like and anything else the kids want to know.
The Show will provide special discounted rates for participants.
