Team Moline and Mike Iaconelli

Team members traveled to Des Plaines IL to attend the America’s Outdoor Show in Chicago on Sunday Jan. 31, 2010.   The highlight of the show was getting to meet Bass Master’s Champion Mike Iaconelli.  The team arrived at the show at 10am Sunday morning and got to meet Jim Sugarman who is the owner of the show.  Jim allowed the team to meet Mike before he went on the stage for his first seminar.  We have posted pictures under the picture tab from the show.   Team members from Zion Benton fishing team where also there, and both teams where able to take some pictures with Mr. Iaconelli.  Zion Benton finished 2nd place at IHSA state last year, so it was nice to see them at the show in their school shirts.

The show was a great experience for all who went.  Team members where able to meet a variety of vendors and pick up some great buys on tackle.  The highlight of the show was at 2:00pm when Mike Iaconelli talked to a full room of high school fishermen.  It was a great seminar for the students to ask questions and learn about fishing.   We will be posting some video from the seminar for team members to watch.  Team Moline was very lucky to be able to sit down with Mike before the 2pm show and have him talk with team members one on one.  We have some video of this one on one time that will be posted in the team fishing report section.  Team members can watch what Mike thinks is important to become a great fishermen.   The team would like to thank our Athletic Director Todd Rosenthal for letting us use a van to drive to this seminar.
