Kristian holds a near 4lb Largemouth taken on Saturday
Team members braved 25-30mph winds on Friday April 10, 2009 and fished Crescent lake in Alpha IL. We had 4 boats and 9 team members who fished from 9:00am till 2:00pm. The water temperature was 47-50 degrees and the water was cloudy but clean. The weather was cloudy with skys clearing in the afternoon. Team members caught several fish on a variety of baits. The paper tournament was based on the three longest fish. Tim Himsl ended up winning the tournament catching a total of 7 fish. Brady Barlow finished 2nd and had the big (longest) fish. All team members fished very hard all day under very difficult conditions. The wind made it very difficult to cast and caused many backlashes! The team would like to thank Greg and Syliva Crouch for making arrangements to have the team fish at Crescent Lake. We would also like to thank Rick Fiems and Greg for allowing team members to fish out of their boats.
On Saturday April 11, 2009 four team members headed out to fish on the Mississippi River near Rapid City. The weather was a little chilly but the wind and skys were much better then the previous day. Since we had only 4 members we fished for fun. The water temperature again was 47-50 degrees, the water clarity was clean for the river. Fish were caught on a variety of baits, and a Northern Pike was taken. Great job to everyone that fished!
